Neelathamara Review

The latest offering from film maker Laljose, Neelathamara tells the story of an innocent girl, and her life’s dilemmas. The director has succeeded to remake a film from the 70s without any possible cliches. The movie has the freshness, and Laljose has succeeded in his department.

The major plus point of the film is the characterization, especially that of Kunju Maalu, played by Archana. Every character have their own identity, and ace writer M T’s script is good in that part. But the film doesn’t have an impactful ending or climax. The movie ends like a book.

The film moves forward well without any crap comedies or comic characters. The song “Anuraga Vilochananayi” is really suit & hummable where as another sad song was unnecessary. The newcomers Archana Kavi and Kailash performed well.

As a whole, Neelathamara is like a nice novel. Watch it.
